Temperature sensor is a component that changes its voltage output depending on the temperature of the component. The outside legs connect to power and ground respectively. The voltage on the center pin changes as it gets warmer of cooler.
The simplest circuit is that the temperature sensor can show us in monitor the real temperature of our environment. In the picture below I have programmed micro-controller to light up the first LED if the temperature of our room is above the 25 C and below the 28 C. If it up to 28 C two LEDs are lighting up.
